Gastão and his assistant Gaspar are the City of Monsters’ scientists. They love experiences and are always full of ideas for new inventions. They like so much what they do that they almost never come out of the lab.

But, as things not always go well, they’re responsible for most of the city’s noise. Many times in the more strange and inappropriate times.

When working on a new formula for their rose bushes to grow toasts (already with butter on), they cheated in a mixture of liquid and woke up the whole neighborhood with a big explosion in the middle of the night.

Still confused, Gaspar warned:
- Master Gastão, get ready. In a few minutes we'll have here all the city’s monsters complaining about this noise.

Gastão, shaking the dust from his crumpled clothes, recalled:
- Yes Gaspar, but it is because of our work that they have televisions that makes great soup, or bicycles that cut nails and hairs while they ride through the countryside.

Gaspar, softly laughing...
- Master, the bike doesn't cut your hair... it just dries it up and makes beautiful curls!
